K-7 LOWER DOMES MKII - LARGE

NOTE:  THESE PARTS ARE THE SAME AS K-7 LOWER DOMES MKII, BUT 25% LARGER

These parts are designed to fit on the bottom of the three pods on the space station, they are intended to add additional detail to a rather flat part of the AMT (Round2) K-7 Space Station model kit.  These are infered shapes and not intended to be accurate to any screen used model (of which there is very limited documentation)

These can also be printed in the clear ultra fine detail if you want to light the inner ring.

I am planning on building many more detail parts for the K-7 station including for Part 07 the Lower Docking Port that will add depth to the bottom of the station so it is more proportional to the filming models and will provide a deeper socket for the base mounting rod which should make the kit more stable when completed.

I also plan on building a replacement for Part 06 the Upper Docking Port that will not have the doors closed and the top of the part will be more rounded inline with the filming models.

I will have a new interior for the docking port that will have two hangars, and openings for lighting in the viewing hallways.

I am planning on making a couple of in-scale shuttlecraft, including a TOS era Run-about to put in the hangars.

I will be making the Storage Pod in two versions, more detail on those to come.

I will also be making a replacement for the main spire.

I will be making support rings that will stabilize the arms extending from the central pod.  I have two versions in mind, one just cylindrical, the second being filleted rectangles more like the connection between the arms and exterior pods.
