GWR Buffer Stop

7mm/ft 1:43.5 scale model of GWR-style stop block as seen at Minehead on the West Somerset Railway.This is a kit of parts requiring the  builder to provide the following:

• Crossbeam of rail or wood
• Tie-bar of 0.8mm diameter wire
• Two lengths of rail
• Four ordinary chairs

 The running rail should be slid between the spacing blocks remembering to add the chairs between the upright and rear diagonal.  The running rail should be flush with the rear of the model and project in front of the check rail far enough to allow a fishplate to be added.
