Product Description
4 mm scale Designed to print in White Natural Versatile and processed Plastic, PA12 Plastic or Smooth Fine Detail Plastic and to run on the Bachmann Percy chassis with additional pony wheel.
This is a 009 narrow gauge engine based on the Sharp Stewart built Edward VII which was commissioned by Martin & Co for the Howrah- Ampta Light Railway Calcutta in 1902. The model is printed with a separate roof and cab back to make it easier to finish the cab interior. The rest of the model is in one piece except for the steps to the cab.
To complete the model as shown a pony wheel similar to the Dundas models part ref DW50 5.1mm size is required, together with a smoke box door dart, some NEM coupling pockets and couplings and some 0.45 brass wire to form the handrails.
Note that the pony truck is designed to have a NEM coupling adjusted and fitted to the frame and this is then plugged into the pocket on the rear of the chassis which will allow free movement of the pony wheel and rear coupling.
