--- This version is for Robot cameras without a rewind feature. ---
This spool is a replacement for the NR-Kassette in Robot cameras. It can stay in your camera permanantly, and works like a modern slr type take-up spool. It simplifies the film loading and rewind procedure, and is compatible with standard store bought 35mm cartridges. When loading, just pull the leader across and slip it in the slot. Release the shutter once to ensure it is catching, then close the back, and fire twice. At the end of the roll, set it to R, and raise and lock the manual knob on the right. The film is now free to be re-wound. The leader will let the go by itself (unlike the NR-Kassette). This version includes a Rewind Knob to quickly return the film to the cassette.
Note: If your Robot model does not have a rewind, consider the version that includes a convenient rewind knob to quickly unload in a changing bag or darkroom.
The delivered models need to be separated, and may need light sanding around the edges, in order to rotate freely in your camera. Available in grey or black plastic.
