This is HMS Gloxinia, an early version of the Flower class corvette. Note the shorter forecastle. It is slightly shorter than the later (modified) version. The Gloxinia is typical of an earlier version. Note that within even this sub-class, there are variations between ships such as the position on the 2lbr gun tub behind the funnel.
Simple one piece model design for smaller scales and tweaked to ensure as compliant as possible with Shapeways across a range of materials and the perfect base on which modellers can add the fine detail flourishes to, depending on your skill level. The model has ‘floored guns’ for the best durability to reduce breakages, and be printable in the material offered.
