The "Adaptive Rig System" is designed for Gopro Hero4 (or Hero3) that have been modified to receive a super wide angle lens(between 190-Degree and 220-Degree for best results)
The "Adaptive Rig System" is modular. Once mounted in the "Camera cages", the Gopro cameras can be installed either on the 3, 4 or 6-camera base(2 and 8 camera bases in preparation, prototypes available for printing at Shapeways on special request).
The "4-camera Rig" presented here is composed of

-one 3d-printed camera base (4-cam configuration)
-Four 3d-printed camera cages

Otherwise DIY lens installation can be done easily on stock Gopro cameras.

The 4-camera configuration with Gopro Hero4 Black edition can achieve a video ouput resolution of up to 6K at 30fps. Photo resolution up to 3k x 6k.
All rigs have a 1/4" hole clearance in the center, for tripod or grip mounting.
The camera cages have been designed to allow good heat dissipation and an access to all buttons and connectors, including the rear 30-pin bus connector, that can be used to power the cameras from an external source, via a
