Product Description
This unique bull pendant design was inspired by the paleolithic cave paintings of Lascaux in Montignac, France. The Lascaux cave paintings, created between 17,000 and 15,000 years BCE, consist of over 6000 figures of humans and animals. Although photos of paleolithic art give the impression that the paintings are flat, the cave walls are curved irregularly and the artists used this three dimensionality to give their drawings form and perspective. This pendant expresses the 3D nature of cave paintings.
The pendant is 1.9 cm (0.75 inches) wide and 9 mm (0.35 inches) long below the loop.
