In these known and unknown legends, the Lightning bolt, or Vajra, is a Devi Astra: a divine weapon. But it is more than simply the Deva’s play-thing. Even the Deva’s must perform austerities to receive the vajra, for it is not powerful, but rather is power itself, and comes from a higher level of existence than they. There is a mystic Christian benediction that explains it well: “To the God-Head is all power, all glory, and all dominion, forever and ever, Amen.” This explains that the mysterious One is the source of all power, and from which all power is in reality only on loan, and so also with credit and glory, as well as ownership and authority.

The spirit of the Vajra represents that power: the power of essence: the power of Omniscient Omnipresent Omnipotence. All is mind, the Vajra represents ultimate mastery and focus of the mind: the power of controlled pure imagination: pure thought: to imagine from the pure unconditioned mind is to manifest for thought and vibration are one.

Vajra in Practice

The Vajra in practice bundles and concentrates other energies: literally a focus. They can be used to hold or absorb overwhelming/cosmic energy. It can anchor and focus into manifestation anything you may imagine. But it is all or nothing. Either it is concentrating focus, or it releasing everything at once in a powerful blast that pierces through all forms straight through to the essence.

They seriously alter the flow of energy and can effectively block/hold/focus energy indefinitely. Remember everything is meant to come and go.
