d94 Sphere Dice "Twin Lights"

This is a ninety-four-sided die (d94) made by truncating a sphere with 94 equally-sized landing positions. The design is based on the solution to the Thomson problem and has two-fold dihedral symmetry.

For ease of recognition, the dice in this series are by default only available in full color, with base color according to the last digit of the highest number (4 = dark pastel green). Other colors may be requested.

"Twin Lights" - 94 is double 47, hence "twin". 47 is the fifteenth prime number, and phosphorus is the fifteenth element on the periodic table. The name "Phosphorus" derives from the Greek words φῶς (phos) and φόρος (phoros), meaning "light bearer." Also a reference to the d47 "Phoebemekko," where "Phoebe" means "bright" or "shining."
