Product Description
Almost 64' long and wider than other PE box cars, these two large SP East Bay cars became PR's largest box motors after they were purchased by the PE in 1942 to meet WWII's demands. The cars were scrapped in 1954/5.
The wheelbase of the cars is scaled to 83mm, and will work with Tomytec's TM-23 chassis and the more easily available Greenmax chass 5719 - although the Greenmax wheelbase is 8mm too short. The cars will need hydraluc trolley poles or pantograhhs [when at the SP's Oakland-Alameda-Berkley line]- available in N Scale Kits Shapeways shop
