Product Description
The 32 pdr gun (6.4'' or 164 mm in calibre) was one of the most ubiquitous muzzle-loading guns in the XVIII and mid-XIX centuries. Produced in both smoothbores and rifled variants and adopted by almost every significant naval power of the time, these guns were used on ships ranging from small frigates to the largest ships of the line, from the golden age of piracy to the first ironclads of the 1850s-60s, until the advent of both breech-loaders and larger guns that could handle bigger charges slowly obsoleted them.
