Rutan Quickie Q200

The Quickie Q200 is a two-seater version of the original Rutan Quickie kit plane. Featuring a tandem wing design, similar to a canard configuration, the Q200 is an unusual yet highly efficent kit aircraft built by the Quickie Aircraft Corporation.

The Q200 is a "taildragger" with fixed (non-retractable) main wheels faired into spats located at the tips of the forward wing. Where it differs from the Q2, the original two-seat version, is the change to the airfoil of the canard, and the inclusion of a more powerful engine, giving the kit an additional boost in performance. A Tri-Q version is also available out of the Q200, replacing the taildragger gear set with tricycle gear.
