Product Description
WWI US Army Pershing Ex Gondola Car for On30. Fully detailed model using prototype drawings.
Ideal for running with a Bachmann On30 2-6-2T Trench Engine.
After WWI, these cars found other uses such as for logging on the Lost River Railroad.
Some gondola cars had their sides removed so they could be useds as flat cars. The difference in pocket positions provides some variety amoung a train of cars.
To build a complete car you will need:
One pair of Pershing Trucks (found HERE)
4× Kadee #524 Code 110 HO Scale 28" wheelsets
2× Kadee #147 Medium Underset Shank Couplers
4× 2-56 or 8BA Screws. I used Kadee #1706 1/4" Long but I would reccomend #1703 1/8" for the couplers.
One Brake Wheel and rod. The wheel in the photo is from a Bachmann On30 18ft car.
