HO scale Horizontal Drum Transit Mixer

This cement mixer is featured in the June 2017 issue of Model Railroader Magazine and Model Railroader Video Plus as a part of the 2017 Beer Line expansion project.  

The model is designed to fit a modified Classic Metal Works HO scale 1941-1946 Chevrolet Dump Truck. For more details, check out Eric White's Step-by-Step article in the June 2017 issue of Model Railroader magazine.

It has come to my attention that the Classic Metal Works Dump Truck is getting hard to come by.  The other Classic Metal works models should work fine, just make adjustments to the frame modifications to match the different frame length. It doesn’t have to be a Chevy either. Years ago, there was an older International truck that would also be appropriate.

The rails on the bottom of the mixer are spread 7/16" (10.5mm) apart and are 1 5/16" (33.5mm) long.
