A brutal combination of the ubiquitous chainsword and the ancient technology of putting a slab of metal between the bearer and the person trying to kill them, the Chainshield is a decidedly rare weapon amongst the arsenal of mankind. This varient features a embossed teardrop, flanked by raised wings and topped with a halo. Whilst it could represent the tears of angels, I can't help but think it would look great in a deep crimson as well!
The Left-handed Chainshield (Flying Tear design) is designed to be compatible with 28mm heroic scale miniatures, particularly those of a more technologically advanced design, and could represent a variety of weapons and shield options. They are available only from White Wyvern Designs as individual parts (Small) or sets of 5 (Medium), 10 (Large) or 20 (Extra Large).
Flying Tear design Chainshields are also available in a Right-handed format, and sets are available entirely for one version or as a mixed set.
