Product Description
This is a Hunslet 0-6-0 Tank locomotive bought by The Cambrian Railway in 1904 from the Lambourn Valley Railway and originally named Eadweade. The Cambrian Railway removed the name and numbered the locomotive 24. It was again renumbered by the GWR as 819, and is seen here in the trim it carried from Swindon Works in 1926 after being absorbed by the Great Western Railway.
The body kit is a direct replacement for the body on the Electrotren GV2005 No 795 Great Western locomotive, fitting the chassis using the same 3 screws used to fit the original body.
Later versions of the Electrotren chassis screwed into the body using a single off centre screw at the front, but the holes ahead of the cylinders are still there for the two thin screws required to fit to our body
Check the mounts to ensure the body sits level with the chassis/wheels and file where necessary until perfect. The holes may need a little opening to get the screws started.
