B6 B6.1 B6.2 T6.1 SC6.1 30mm Fan Mount

Cool Your Motor for Hot Performance Designed with optimal air flow in mind, this innovative new fan mount positions the fan close to the motor, so it can direct cool air where you want it most.  The angle of the fan works in conjunction with the air passing through the body (from front to rear) to provide optimal cooling while driving.  With dimensions based on the stock chassis brace, it is a direct fit replacement using the stock hardware.  

Installation Tips: Compatible with the B6, B6.1, B6.2, B6.3, B6.4, T6.1, T6.2, T6.4, SC6.1, and SC6.2 (with the laydown or layback transmissions only). Mount the fan using 3mm button head screws that are 4mm longer than the fan is deep.  You may need to clean some nylon powder out of the blind holes.  A small drill bit, used by hand, works well.   Please tighten screws carefully when mounting, and do not strip by overtightening.  May not be compatible with some motors, including those that generate excessive magnetism.

12-4-23 Update: The fan position has been moved toward the motor plate by 2mm to give more room for the solder tabs on the motor.  This allows a wider range of compatible motors (such as the Hobbywing G4 motors).
