Product Description
Designed as a HOn3 craftsman kit, this product is an accurate representation of the Koppel Flat Car currently in service on the United States Gypsum Plaster City Narrow Gauge Railway. The flat car is used to transport machinery to and from the quarry site at Split Mountain as well as general MOW functions along the line. The model comes as a one piece body less grabirons, brake rigging, deck, draft gear, couplers, trucks, and other fine details. Use Kadee #722 or #726 Hon3 trucks. Please consult prototype photographs during the construction process. These kits are designed for moderate to advanced modellers that can supply some scratchbuilding skill and ingenuity to the build.
