Bachmann C-19 Class Lamps - UPPER Adlake Flipper

These class lamps are based on the Adlake Flipper class lamps often used on the Colorado & Southern Railroad. D&RGW C-19 numbers 343, 345, and 346 spent a few years operating on the C&S, at least 343 and 346 wore these class lights at some point on the C&S. 

These will fit Bachmann C-19 and Bachmann K-27 class lamp provisions on the front of their smokeboxes, ONLY WITH MY LOWER HALVES. May require some sanding around the center post that fits inside the bottom halves, the brass/bronze may shrink. Please be careful when handling these, the top where the 'vent' is broke for me when I dropped one 3' off my desk. I glued it back together, but I highly suggest keeping these away from getting squished, falling, etc. 

NOTE: This listing is for the UPPER HALVES ONLY. The lower halves are another listing, because the lower halves are brass for strength, while the upper halves have fine detail. If the tops were brass, much detail would be lost. 

For lenses: I suggest purchasing these LED indicator housings through Mouser or similar. Search for CLB_300_CTP. There will be similar options, make sure the lens diameter is equal to or greater than 6.8mm/0.2677". The lenses will all need to be turned down either on a lathe, or by using a power drill and file to turn it down to the needed outer diameter. These lenses are much clearer than anything Shapeways provides, and are much stronger.
