HMW: SAR Narrow gauge Buffer stop - Type 1

This is a model of the South African Railways Narrow Gauge Buffer Stop - Type 1, as were found on all the major 2ft gauge railways in South Africa. This was the primary design of buffer stop. Manufactured from Formed rail and welded assembly. The Stop block was made from Oak or Iron wood and was sometimes painted RED. The rest of the unit was painted white.
