CDN/ General Wagon Body only
This is a 4mm scale model of a general goods wagon body as used on the Chemin de
Fer des Côtes-du-Nord in Brittany, north west France.
Printed in two parts, this is the wagon body which is designed to be printed in Fine Detail Plastic which will show the planking brackets and fixings in crisp detail. some small wire loops are required to complete this, for which fitting points have been marked, the wagon ends can be formed in two configurations, standard rectangular ends or gable ends.
A separate print of the frames is designed to be printed in Versatile Plastic to take full advantage of the metal wheel bearings running within nylon hubs. Brake gear and handle are an integral part of the print. The wheels used for this model can be obtained from Dundas Models ref DW86 & DW87 or Markits ref MRTT9Do/b, but other 12 mm gauge 8mm diameter wheels with pinpoint axels may be suitable
