Product Description
The 8,8cm Flak 41 was developed in 1941 by Rheinmetall Borsig under the designation Gerat 37, but production didn´t start until 1943. It was a complete new design, different from the older 8,8cm 18/36/37. The new gun have had a longer Barrel, was heavier and used a new designed ammunition. The Flak 41 have had a longer range and a much quicker rate of fire than the older guns. First units saw action in Africa.
