Product Description
I created this stylized Sugar Skull character in celebration of Dia Des Los Muertos, Day of the Dead in English. In Tucson, where I live, Day of the Dead is a major holiday celebrated at the beginning of November, to honor our dead ancestors and loved ones. There is a large parade, where people dress as sugar skulls and create altars to their deceased. The holiday came over from Mexico and is an integral part of Mexican culture, and has now become a part of American culture in some areas of the U.S.
