The fourth generation of the mount follows the design concept of the fourth major form factor of the GoPro cameras. With the new GoPro design comes a new opportunity to make the mount even easier to use, lighter and in turn more affordable and that's exactly what we did.
With the GoPro mounting arms folded under the camera the user simply passes the mount through two loops of a boonie hat centered with the nose. The loops lay in a recessed area of the mount to reduce movement. The camera then snaps in from the front between the upper and lower portions of the mount and the protruding pegs in the mount lock into the recessed openings or the folded arms at the base of the GoPro. The tight tension keeps the camera from budging.
The fourth coming of the popular mount, originally designed in 2015, embraces the changes of the latest generation of GoPro camers and takes advantage of the new skeleton free mounting system which makes this mount smaller and lighter and at the same time moves the center of gravity lower reducing up and down movement even further.
Mount comes ready to mount user simply must supply a boonie hat with loops and the GoPro Hero 9,10 or 11 camera. Opening in the back of the mount can be used to pass a loop/bungee through to further reduce any unwanted movement.
