Product Description
A set of four experimental N-gauge wheelsets (6mm diameter, 3ft real world) on slightly shorter than usual axles, without pinpoints, and requiring a stiff metal wire as an inner axle. They may offer a new way of fitting N-gauge wheelsets to models of wagons with limited width clearance and flexibility, and I don't know how well they will work. The other part is a pair of girders like those used to restrain or secure the load on a GWR Loriot (Lowmac) wagon. Once out of their box, which is there to make them meet the minimum bounding box requirements for printing, they should fit between the small compartments at the widest points of the well-ends on my G27 and G41 (2/900, 2/902) wagons, but how much better they serve than just short lengths of square section plasticard cut to the right length is uncertain.
UPDATE: I still haven't tried the wheels but I'm making this available for sale in case you want to try them, or you want the girders. If it doesn't suit you to have both, contact me and I'll upload a single item, or other combination tailored to your needs. See my model of the G27 wagon for photos of the girders.
