Product Description
This tankcar vent is based on a 1904 design. Until 1918 all tankcars were equipped with this type of vent.
Single vents were installed on tankcars of not more than 8000 gallon capacity. Above 8000 gallons a second vent was installed on the dome opposite of the first, or a Twin vent was used.
