Westland Wessex Exhaust with Guards (pair) 1:32

Designed for the Fly 1:32 scale Westland Wessex kit, this 3D Pprinted exhaust (2 included) replaces the kit part with a more accurate and more detailed part.

This set does *not* include the flotation guards fitted to some exhausts.  As always, check your references to see if flotation guards were fitted to the aircraft you are building

The kit part as in most other model kits has the exhaust detail incorrect.  The 3 'rings' around the exhaust are not in fact 3 rings and not present on the real thing.  The outer 'ring' is the edge of the reinforcement lip, the inner 'ring' is actually a welded seam.  Only the center ring is correct.  This annular ring is there to add rigidity to the exhaust.
I have tried to capture those features in this design.
This version of the exhausts come with the inflation bag guards fitted to some aircraft versions

Some striations may be present in the printed part due to the printing process but these are easily removed by sanding with a micro-mesh strip.  Smoothest fine detail plastic is recommended for minimal finishing work

2 Exhausts are included in this part.  Simply remove the two stand-offs between the exhausts and file the end face flush.
