The Sprintjets' steering nozzle has the same malady as it's bigger brother, the Riverjet. Proboat made it extra large to give the impression of it having a larger jet drive than it actually has (curb appeal). See comparison pics of the Proboat Decoy Ducks' stator and nozzle (correctly sized) compared to the Sprintjets'. This makes for a 'dry nozzle' (space on either side of the jet stream) that causes touchy/jumpy steering. The new correctly scaled nozzle will allow much better control which is important in smaller craft going at higher than scale speeds. Available in 9 colors.
To remove the stock nozzle, pinch the sides together while carefully prying off of the hinge pin with a flathead screwdriver. Installation is the reverse. If you remove the stator/screws first, it will allow easier pivoting on/off the control wire. For more information see post 163 of the following thread:
