Space Station K-7 Extended Docking Port (Lower) Part07 Replacement MKII

This part is designed as a replacement for Part 07 of the Space Station K-7 kit from AMT/Round2.  It provides a deeper receptacle for the mounting rod to make the model kit more stable when completed and it makes to lower Docking Port pod of the Station more proportional to the filming miniatures.  The three extra large alignment extensions will help keep the parts better aligned.

I also plan on building a replacement for Part 06 the Upper Docking Port that will not have the doors closed and the top of the part will be more rounded inline with the filming models.

I will have a new interior for the docking port that will have two hangars, and openings for lighting in the viewing hallways.

I am planning on making a couple of in-scale shuttlecraft, including a TOS era Runabout to put in the hangars.

I am planning on building many more detail parts for Space Station K-7 station.

I will be making the Storage Pod in two versions, more detail on those to come.

I will also be making a replacement for the main spire.  I am also considering making replacements for all four station domes that will be more inline what what was seen on screen.

I will be making support rings that will stabilize the arms extending from the central pod.  I have two versions in mind, one cylindrical, the second being filleted rectangles more like the connection between the arms and exterior pods.
