Product Description
N scale model of Los Angeles Union Station.

The station was built in 1939 and is the largest passenger terminal in the Western USA. It is widely regarded as "the last of the great train stations". It was designed by father-son architect team of John and Donald Parkinson with an innovative blend of Spanish Colonial, Mission Revival, and Art Deco architecture, now commonly referred to as Mission Moderne.
In 1972, Union Station was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, and in 1980 placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This is the departure and arrival lobby between the famous waiting hall and the concourse to/from the trains. It connects as an add-on to the backside of the waiting hall, part 7.

Part 1+2 form the main building.
Part 3-9 are add-ons.
