1/35 JSU-152 Ammo Rack 1

Part 1 of an interior set for the JSU-152 (fitted to Tamiya kit).  Vehicle is fitted with two racks on the port side sponson between the fuel tank and the rear loader's duel hatch.  I wanted to pose the vehicle with all the hatches open so wanted some decent gizmology to look the part.  AMS took over and I found photos and drawings of the rack so here you go.  Will need straps to hold the shells in place, to be made from lead foil, paper soaked in superglue or thin flexible plastic strip.  Shells (tips, not cartridges) to be sourced from other kits or Hussar Productions 152mm ammo set is recommended.  Cartridge rack on Starboard side coming soon - as I found to my dsimay, it is a different configuration.  Enjoy!
