3mm Scale Bulleid Leader Scratch Aid - Body

A commission piece, this scratch aid provides the shape and main details of Bulleid’s experimental ‘Leader’ class steam locomotive.  Originating as an O Gauge scratch aid, it has been suitably altered to be accurate for 4mm Scale, including numerous details thoroughly researched such as precise panel seams as on the engine but previously not even correctly portrayed on scale model plans.  Importantly, this is only intended as a scratch aid: a chassis will have to be created by the builder.  Importantly, it is only intended as a scratch aid: a chassis will have to be created by the builder.  Also available for this locomotive are bogie sides, end cab interiors and ashpan.
