Product Description
Coupler box spacer for the Atlas O Scale U23B engine. This piece fills the gap between the Kadee 745 coupler box and the fixed pilot of the 2 rail U23B. It also replaces the plastic shim used for mounting the Atlas coupler box.
Note 1 - the outer tabs on the Kadee 745 coupler box will need to be removed so that the assembled coupler will slide into place. The coupler assembly and spacer are attached to the pilot using the center two holes (M2 screws - not included).
Note 2 - since this is more of a spacer/filler, and less structural, it should be OK to print in Fine Detail Plastic if a better painted surface finish is desired.
Note 3 - this has not been tried with the 3 rail version of the U23B. If you decide to give it a go, please let me know how it fits!
Note 4 - one print contains both the front and rear mounts.
