Product Description
The Rolls-Royce RB.178 was an experimental engine designed to replace the RR Conway. It was proposed for use on several aircraft including the Shorts SC.5/45 Jet Belfast and the Vickers DB.265 Superb.
In the end, the engine was cancelled after test versions had run on a test bench. It was replaced by the RB.211.
This set contains 4 engines on pylons, I designed the pylons for attachment to the Roden C-141 kit (as a wing "wimilar to" the C-141 was to be used for the Jet Belfast).
