Product Description
The Asatru tradition is based on Norse pagan beliefs. A common form of divination in Asatru are the runes, symbols that have spiritual and magical meaning. In this talisman, the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark, the "alphabet" of the runes, are inscribed on the rim. In the middle is the Web of Wyrd, The Web of the Wyrd, or Skuld's Net, represents the weave of the Nornir, the Goddesses of Fate. The Web is formed by taking the union of all the different runes in the futhark, symbolizing the union of all elements of Fate.
This pendant was designed by Rose Smith-Rowland. The pendant is two-sided, with the same runes on both sides. It's about 40mm (1 1/2") high.
