Product Description
Window kit for creating a Milwaukee Road 12 Section Tourist Sleeper. No prototypical Milwaukee Road overnight heavyweight consist would be complete without their iconic tourist sleepers. Common in consists from the 1920s through the 1940s, these cars would see service in MOW consists all the way into the 1960s. This kit represents the modernized configuration post air conditioning.
This kit is sized to fit HO Rivarossi heavyweight coaches. The existing windows will need to be cut from the coach and replaced with the inserts. The windows in the vestibules can either be left for the early 1920s configuration, or filled. We recommend that you use a gel CA and putty to seal and fill any gaps.
