O scale 4-pack Ellis bumper

Keep your freight cars from rolling off the end of the spur with this set of four beefy bumping posts. Based on a Reading Company plan but common on other railroads as well. Per the prototype plans, the post is slightly off-center for best coupler contact. Rail height is code 148.  I recommend washing all models then priming  with a rattle-can primer that's specifically plastic-compatible such as Krylon or Rust-Oleum before painting with your choice of paint. The HO version in the photos was primed with flat gray, then painted with Polly Scale acrylics and finished with Bragdon weathering powders.
