Festiniog Railway Quarry Workmen's Carriage 'Type 1a'
This model depicts the first Quarry Workmen's Carriages used on the Festiniog Railway. Referred to as 'Type 1b', they were open carriages used from 1867 and by 1871 there were 32 of them.
Designed to use Ø6.2 or Ø5.5 9mm gauge wheels with a Ø1.5mm axle as a clip fit. The print may need the bearing surface or slot opening out slightly with a file.
