Atlas D Booster Skirt (Mercury Space Launcher)

1/35 scale. The parts family for this subject is reminiscent of the Estes Masters Series Mercury- Atlas Frendship 7 Launch booster(MR-6). Comprised of 6 primary parts, and a seperate detail set, is a complete printed scale rocket capable of three model rocket motor ignition in parallel. Primarily designed for 24 mm core motor with two 18mm parallel boosters ( plugged).
Peak inside the model using  the 3D viewer and you'll see the extension tube shoes for motor/ Fin stabiler booms , to be utilized just as Estes has done for Shuttle, and the Merc. Atlas, their rendition of the subject ( kit# 2111). Its is intended to be used with fiberglass tubes for the stabilizer fin booms/ motor mount tubes, and I will have  printed fin units available as well. This skirt has all the details of the Atlas D  (109 round) space launcher. It has a socket fitting for the external plumbing stack sold in a seperate detail set.
Tips: for the stabilizer extension booms, if using as actual 18mm motor tubes, I would cap the forward end with a fire block( the shoe end),  again preferably fiberglass.
