Designed as a wing leader for squadrons of Protectorate TIEs, the TIE Tusk featured heavier shields and weaponry, and bore the same relationship to the standard TIE Fang as the TIE Defender did to standard TIE Interceptors. The TIE Tusk has fixed wings.
