BTR-60 PA (open)

The BTR-60PA is a soviet built armored personnel carrier which was produced from 1963 until 1965.
This model represents a BTR-60PA of the 1960s with open drivers hatches. The wheels of the model are turning. The windows of the open drivers hatches can be made by using for example Microscale Kristal Klear, Humbrol Clearfix or similar products.

Note: the wheels might not turn when you receive the model due to remaining wax from the printing process

For cleaning place the parts for a couple of minutes in a solution of hot water (approx. 70-75°C) and dish soap. Carefully clean the parts with a soft brush to remove remaining wax. If necessary repeat the cleaning until you can turn the wheels. If necessary adjust parts for fitting. Assemble the model. Paint the model. Create the windows.

Der BTR-60PA ist ein sowjetischer Schützenpanzerwagen, der in der Sowjetunion von 1963 bis 1965 produziert wurde.
Das Modell stellt einen typischen BTR-60PA / SPW-60PA der 1960er Jahre dar wie er auch in der DDR zum Einsatz kam. Die Räder des Modells sind beweglich. Die Fenster können zum Beispiel mit Microscale Kristal Klear, Humbrol Clearfix oder ähnlichen Produkten gefertigt werden.

Achtung: Ggf. sind die Räder nicht drehbar, wenn Sie das Modell erhalten. Dies liegt an Wachsresten vom Drucken.

Zum Reinigen tauchen Sie die Teile in eine Lösung aus heißem Wasser (ca. 70-75°C) und Spülmittel und entfernen Sie Wachsreste mit Hilfe eines Pinsels. Wiederholen Sie ggf. die Reinigung bis sich die Räder drehen lassen. Passen Sie ggf. die Teile für die Montage an. Montieren Sie das Modell. Lackieren Sie das Modell. Gestalten Sie die Fenster.
