These links will add about 5MM of clearance at the axle housing allowing your front (or rear) axle to drop down and let the tires get traction. We left it low enough to still protect the driveshaft but still add some more clearance.
These links ALSO move the rear wheel in about 1MM to better center the rear wheels in the arch, eliminating the tire nob rubbing, on the B-17 Betty body. That's why you need new rear uppers too.
Designed with a maan 3.2MM bar with vertical and horizontal bracing to make sure they hold up to some abuse.
-To Install-- Remove 2 screws from one any of the lower links
- One on the axle link mount and one on the skid link mount
- Remove link from chassis
- Remove pivot balls from old link
- Install pivot balls in new links
- Install new link where you removed the old link
- Be sure to snug the screw so the pivot ball doesn't move side to side
- Repeat for the remaining links.
-Material Options-
Versatile Plastic and Multijet Fusion are very similar base materials, both Nylon. Versatile plastic is all printed white and then dyed the chosen color. MultiJet Fusion is the chosen color all the way through. MultiJet is limited to 2 colors but also has glass bead options.
-Notes -
You need to reuse factory pivot balls or buy a nice fresh set from GPD RC Store
Before installing new rear lowers it's best to install rear uppers. Makes process much easier
