Product Description
When the midpoints of the 96 edges of the 4-dimensional 24-cell are used as vertices of a new polytope, we get the "rectified 24-cell", projected here into 3-space as a wire-frame model. It has 288 edges, 96 vertices, and consists of 48 cells in 4D: 24 cubes, and 24 cuboctahedra. This projection, viewed from the top, projects the F4 Petrie polygon onto the plane.
