PT 103-108 Towing Bitt 1/35th Scale

This part is for Elco 80' PT 103-108 boats. It is made to Elco drawings with the exception of a slightly thicker bottom flange to meet printing minimums. A mounting pin drill guide is included. Note that the bitt and locating plug have a slightly tapered bottom so that the post is at a right angle to the water line. Depending on the model's deck angle they may need to be shimmed.

Preparation

For best painting results be sure to follow cleaning with a UV cure from a lamp with the correct output, or the sun.

Measurements are given in full scale and are taken from Elco drawings.
Center of bitt is 80" aft of boat forward point, on boat center line. Bitt post should be at a right angle to the water line.
