Product Description
This is a model of the South African Railways Narrow Gauge Buffer Stop - Type 2, as were found on all the major 2ft gauge railways in South Africa. This was the second most used design of buffer stop. Manufactured from cut and welded sections of rail. The Stop block was made from Oak or Iron wood and was sometimes painted RED. The rest of the unit was painted white.
