Hanging Lantern (no candles)

Re-designed (July 10)!   This hanging lantern now has slightly thicker (and sturdier) parts just like my lantern with candles design.  The hole at the top also is now 0.129in wide so you can fit a 1/8in tube inside if you want.

Material Notes:
Smooth Fine Detail Plastic:  My preference.  The best quality.  It paints beautifully and retains details.  Great for faux metal finishes.  I like to use spray paint for mine.

White Polished Versatile Plastic: Matte finish.  This plastic goes through a polishing process.  It's not as smooth as the fine detail plastic.  To paint this material use lots of light coats of spray paint or leave as is.  I like to use a spray primer/paint combo like Krylon ColorMaster.

Black or White Natural Versatile Plastic:  Matte finish, not recommended for painting.  Slight texture/grit.  While I prefer the smooth fine detail plastic, I still buy these myself for some projects.  However, they definitely are better left as-is without paint.  Great if you want a black lantern ready to hang!
