This oil lamp holder is specifically designed for use with commercially available 1.5 inch diameter confetti oil lamp or LED lamp inserts.  The holder can be attached to a solid and sturdy base using a screw to help secure the lamp and to keep it positioned in place.  Use a flat topped wood screw to pass through a tapered hole on the bottom of the holder and into a sturdy material such as wood.  Steel material options are offered for applications using the oil lamp or candles having a real flame, and plastic options for cool operating LED type lamps and illuminators.  There are undoubtably other uses for this item such as for holding small floral arrangements, potpourri, small cups to hold toothpicks, and who knows what else.  Be creative!
