Product Description
The Bombardier Dash 8 or Q-Series, is a series of twin-engine turboprop airliners. Introduced by de Havilland Canada in 1984, they are now produced by Bombardier Aerospace.
This 1:200 scale model was produced in about 3hrs of work, split over two working days. One of my earlier works, the biggest improvement compared to earlier models is the wing root. Previously the roots for my models have been a sphere, warped and shaped to roughly match the outline based on available dimensions. This model is the first to have the wing root designed to actually match the shape of the real-world aircraft, as best as possible. Recently I've adjusted the model to match an actual scale value and corrected minor mistakes I failed to catch years ago when it was first completed. Enjoy!
