This model shows lysozyme's ribbon structure in rainbow color representation, from the N-termius (blue) to the C-terminus (red). This ribbon model highlights the motifs of lysozyme's secondary structures, which include alpha helixes and beta sheets which are held together by hydrogen bonding between the backbone amine and carbonyl functional groups. The h-bonds are represented in white.
