Product Description
This is the second prototype of a lock which is intended to be more cool than useful.
From every position in the maze, there's exactly one solution to unlock it.
The small stud (posted as a separate piece because I'm still refining it) slides into the maze, and should be attached with a thin gold or silver chain, provided by you.
It's intended to be made from steel (gold-plated or otherwise), but any material should work.
The interior support system holds the maze pieces in such a way that they chime eerily when struck lightly. There are no moving parts inside the ball.
158g / 5.6oz
Note that the small stud which serves as the lock catch is a separate model (https://www.shapeways.com/model/129315/mazeball_padlock_studs.html). It does not quite fit without slight modification, so you'll need a file to make the lock work.
If you're interested in a variation on this model, please let me know. I can't promise I'll have the time to make it, but I might...
